ARC FLASH
• Apply appropriate personal protective equipment
(PPE) and follow safe electrical work practices. See
NFPA 70E.
• This equipment must only be installed and serviced
by qualified electrical personnel.
• Turn off all power supplying this equipment before
working on or inside equipment.
• Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device
to confirm power is off.
• Replace all devices, doors and covers before turning
on power to this equipment.

• Utilice equipo de protección personal (EPP) apropiado y siga las
prácticas de seguridad eléctrica establecidas por su Compañía,

• Desenergice el equipo antes de realizar cualquier trabajo en él.
• Siempre utilice un dispositivo detector de tensión nominal
adecuado para confirmar la desenergización del equipo.
• Vuelva a colocar todos los dispositivos, las puertas y las cubiertas
antes de volver a energizar el equipo.

Barrier Removal Retiro de barrera
1. Turn off all power supplying the equipment where
this device will be installed before working on or
inside equipment.
1. Desenergice el equipo en el que se instalará este dispositivo,
antes de realizar cualquier trabajo en él.
2. Remove and retain barrier mounting screw (A, Figure 1). 2. Quite y conserve los tornillos de montaje de la barrera (A, figura 1).
3. Remove and discard barrier (B, Figure 1). 3. Retire y deseche la barrera (B, figura 1).
4. Replace barrier mounting screw (C, Figure 1).
Torque screw to 30 lbs-in. (3.4 N•m).
4. Vuelva a colocar el tornillo de montaje (C, figura 1). Apriete el
tornillo a 3,4 N•m (30 lbs-pulg).
