Can be used with addressing units equipped with an M12 connector, supporting infrared
addressing.

Permits infrared communication between the addressing terminal and the slave to be addressed.

AS-i products are intended solely for use in systems complying with
the AS-i specification.

Any other use is considered not to comply with the intended purpose.
Important :
1) Before starting addressing, ensure
there is no data traffic on the yellow
AS-i line (if necessary, reset at AS-i
interface module).
2) The AS-i bus power supply must be
switched on during addressing.

Connect / Screw the M12 male connector of
the ASI TERIR1 into the M12 connector of the
ASI TERV 2.

Position the infrared head of the adapter in
the triangular slot of the slave to address.

Perform addressing as indicated in the
addressing unit instructions.

Briefly switch off the power supply before
putting the master into service.

Plug the infrared head into the module

• Use with applications in accordance with the AS-i regulations.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in minor injury or equipment damage.
• Auxiliary power supply must meet PELV (protective extra low voltage) requirements according
to IEC364-4-41, or NEC 725 for class 2 power supply.
