Connecting a
Microphone
To record narration, you can connect a microphone and perform recording (
p. 125
).
Make the connection at the location shown in the figure. Insert the plug all the way
in.

Before you make the connection, turn the volume knob in the figure fully counterclockwise to
lower the volume level.

Howling could be produced depending on the location of microphones relative to speakers.
This can be remedied by:
1.
Changing the orientation of the microphone(s).
2. Relocating microphone(s) at a greater distance from speakers.
3. Lowering volume levels.
