Remark on the function of the appliance
The principle of function of the air-conditioner consists in air circulation in a room via the
air-conditioning cooling circuit and backward blowing into the room. Part of the sucked
air is used for heat exhausting by the hose D1 (as a rule by its placing into a window).
– The total sucked volume of air, thus, is firstly sucked from the room.
– Its part is cooled and blown back into the room = required cooling effect.
– The second part receives heat, which is consequently taken away by the hose
D1 = physical effect/consequence of the occurrence of chilly air.
Thanks to this phenomenon, slight vacuum is created in the room. At the same time,
condensate usually arises during cooling down thanks to water coagulating; this
condensate is collected in the inner container and has to be drained from time to time.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Once connected to mains, the appliance is switched-over to Standby mode (an acoustic
signal will ring out). To actuate the appliance, press the ON/OFF button B1/C1. The
on-state signalization B9 and actual-setting indicating lamp will light up. The display at the
same time will display actual room temperature. Now it is possible to change modes and
functions by means of corresponding buttons, see below. To finish whatever function and
switch-off the appliance, press repeatedly the ON/OFF button B1/C1.
1) BASIC MODE
You may change a mode by pressing the button B3/C3; the modes are changed as follows:
A) Automatic mode ( ) automatically evaluates and determines Cooling or Ventilation
mode depending on actual room temperature.
If room temperature is 24 °C or higher, Cooling mode is activated. If it is lower than 24 °C,
Ventilation mode is activated.
B) Cooling mode ( ) decreases room temperature; and warm air is exhausted by the
hose D1 out of the room.
If room temperature is higher than the set temperature, the compressor is activated and
the appliance will start refrigerate. If room temperature is lower than the set temperature,
the compressor is switched-off and only the upper ventilator will remain to be active with
the set speed. You may set temperature by pressing the buttons B5/C5 and B6/C6 (+,-);
the adjusted temperature (15 - 31 °C) is blinking on for a while on the display B13. After
a while, the temperature inside the room will be displayed. To change the set temperature,
use again the buttons B5 and B6.
C) Dehumidification mode ( ) decreases relative humidity in the room. The upper
ventilator is active with the low speed in this mode. The bottom ventilator and the
compressor will switch-off after 8 minutes, and they will be activated again after 6 minutes.
Neither speed nor temperature may be changed.
D) Ventilation mode ( ) represents a function of a classic table-top ventilator in
dependence on the set speed. The compressor and the bottom ventilator are not active.
It is not possible to set temperature in this mode.
