times, a longer transmission (nonetheless in the order of a few seconds) will
be necessary in order for the device to reproduce the received signal, but
more power will be saved as a result.
To activate the Power Save function and regulate the duration of the standby
period, see the next chapter, “Advanced functions”.
5.13 – Vibration
The device has a circuit that causes it to vibrate when switched on and when
communication is received after an adjustable period of silence. This allows
the user to be more eiciently notied of an inbound communication with
respect to the normal reproduction of audio.
Details of how to activate and congure the vibration function are provided
later in the manual in the “Advanced functions” chapter.
5.14 – Torch function
There is another high-brightness white-coloured LED at the top of the device
with a portable lighting function. The device can therefore also be used like
a common electric torch. To activate the torch, press the corresponding
button on the left side of the device, as shown in the gure in chapter 3. To
deactivate the torch, repeat the same procedure.
Bear in mind that activating the torch could considerably reduce the battery
life. Therefore, it is important to consider the remaining battery life indicated
on the display via the icon, before activating the torch.
6. ADVANCED FUNCTIONS (MENU)
More complex functions can be activated, deactivated and adjusted through
a menu and submenu navigation system, as is now commonplace in many
