3.2.2 Preparing the pipe
• Iden fy a suitable length (minimum 30 cm, without elbow) of straight pipe.
• Dismantle the POD kit to retrieve the EU pipe adapter (DN50 mm) provided with 2 perfora ons, see gure
.
• For a DN50 mm pipe, use the EU DN50 mm pipe adapter (or use the DN63 mm bo om collar). Posi on it
on the pipe in a recommended posi on, see “3.2.1 Recommended posi oning”. Use a centre-punch or
marker pen to mark the posi on of the holes to be made in the pipe, see gure .
• Using the hole saw supplied, cut the 2 feed holes for the POD kit, see gure .
• Ensure that the edges of the holes are smooth and deburred, see gure .
