3. Setting planer fence
• Loosen the lock (1)
• Set planer fence (2) to the desired angle position
• Retighten the lock (7) when the desired position
is reached
The alignment of the planer fence at right angles should be checked
again before initial operation and readjusted if necessary to achieve an ex-
act planing result.
• The angle is measured with a protractor (8). This is placed on the
planer table and applied to the planer fence.
• If it is not possible to place the protractor completely against the
planer fence, the planer fence is not set exactly at right angles and an
adjustment of the scale (4) is necessary.
• The angle is adjusted with the screw (3).
15.4 Operation
15.4.1 Switch the machine on and off
Switch on
Press the switch-on button (I).
Switch off
Press the switch-off (0)
15.5 Dust collection plug
Planer:
• Set planer knife cover (3) to upperst position
• Set thicknessert table (4) to lowest position
• Pull out the switching pins (2)
• Place the dust collector hood (1) at a slightly slanting
angle into the opening of the thicknesser table and
push it backwards
• Fix the dust collector hood with the switching pins (2)
on the exit planer table
NOTE: The machine can only be switched on if switching
pins are plugged in correctly!
Thicknesser:
• Remove the planer fence
• Pull out the switching pins (2)
• Place the dust collector hood onto t exit planer table
• Fix the dust collector hood with the switching pins (2)
on the exit planer table
• Set the planer knive cover (3) as shown
NOTE: The machine can only be switched on if switching
pins are plugged in correctly!
