• Tectora must only be installed on
joists at 400mm centres.
• Ensure the joists are level and
even, clear of debris and without
any surface deviations such as
knots or nails.
• 25 x 25mm battens must be
installed in the joists bays to
support the rigid insulation layer.
• Service pipes for underoor
heating in other rooms must be
located in the joist space.
• Joists must be drilled in line with
building regulations.
• The joists must also be notched
for the loop ends of the pipe.
