4.2.2 Changing cylinders
When the display on the control panel changes from
green to red, the operating cylinder is empty� When the
empty gas cylinder is replaced, the display changes
back to green� It is important to turn the control knob
on the DuoControlCS 180° to select the new operating
cylinder� The DuoControlCS now withdraws gas from
the opened cylinder� This ensures that the reserve cylin-
der is always 100% full�
The DuoControlCS withdraws gas from the operating
cylinder until it is empty� Then the system switches au-
tomatically to the full reserve cylinder – and the process
starts all over again�
4.2.3 EisEx regulator heater
LPG may contain traces of water� At temperatures
around 0 °C, tiny plugs of ice can form in the gas pres-
sure regulator which reduce or even stop the flow of gas�
EisEx consists of a heating cartridge that is installed in
the regulator housing� When EisEx is switched on, the
gas pressure regulator is heated electrically, which pre-
vents ice forming� This ensures trouble-free gas supply
also in winter conditions�

with the flip switch (Fig� 2-1)� The flip switch has three
positions (Fig� 2-2,3,4)�
