4 Product description
The remote indicator DuoC can be used to check from
inside the vehicle which gas cylinder(Fig� 1-5,6) is cur-
rently in operation with a two-cylinder system� Fig� 1
shows an example� The EisEx regulator heater can also
be activated so that the gas pressure regulator does not
freeze up – even at low temperatures�
4.1 Structure
The remote indicator DuoC consists of a control pan-
el, transmitter, EisEx and cables� The control panel
is installed inside the vehicle and power is supplied
with 12V from the on-board power supply (battery)�
The transmitter (Fig� 1-3) and the EisEx (Fig� 1-4) are
installed in the gas box on the gas pressure regulator
(Fig� 1-3) � The transmitter and EisEx are connected to
the control panel with a cable (Fig� 1-1)�

4.2 Function
4.2.1 Changeover (two-cylinder system)
When the pressure in the operating cylinder falls below
0�5 bar, the DuoControl CS in the gas box automatically
switches over and withdraws gas from the second gas
cylinder (reserve cylinder)�
In the inspection glass of the DuoControlCS, the dis-
play changes from green to red� The transmitter recog-
nises this changeover and shows it on the control panel
inside the vehicle with green and red LEDs�
