Method 2 – scanning the QR code
• Make sure your Wi-Fi network is within range and has Internet access.
• Connect the camera to the power supply.
• Connect your phone to the WI-FI network
• Open the ‘Tuya Smart’ app. Click on the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner
or click on ‘Add device’ on the home page (Figure 06). Select ‘Cam-
era and Lock’, click on ‘PTZ Camera (WI-FI)’ (Figure 07) to add the
camera. Reset the device by pressing the Reset button for 5 seconds
(Figure 05). After restarting the camera, click ‘Next’ (Figure 08). Figure
09 shows how to scan the QR code displayed in the following steps in
front of the camera lens; position the camera so that you can scan the
QR code comfortably and click on ‘Next’. Select your Wi-Fi network
(2.4 GHz only), enter the Wi-Fi password (Figure 10) and click ‘Next’.
The QR code will be displayed on your mobile phone. Place your mo-
bile phone in front of the camera lens as shown in Figure 09 and hold
it there until you hear a signal or a message from the camera. Then
click on ‘I heard a sound’ (Figure 11).
If the camera does not make any sound after scanning the QR code for
a few minutes, click on ‘I didn’t hear anything’, press the Reset button for
5 seconds (Figure 05) and repeat the process of adding a camera from
the beginning or try Method 3
• The camera will start the process of registering the device in the cloud
and preparing it for operation, which may take several minutes (Figure
12). Do not disconnect the WI-FI connection during this time and do
not close the application
• After successfully adding the device, you can give the camera your
own name (Figure 13) and click ‘Finish’
