9.4 Measuring volume
Measure the volume based on the properties of a cuboid.

9.5 Adding and subtracting measurements
When you perform single distance measurements, you can add and subtract distances,
areas and volumes. Continuous measurements do not support addition and subtraction.
1. Perform the first measurement by measuring a distance, area or volume.
2. Activate the addition or subtraction mode by pressing the addition button + or the sub-
traction button - . Switch between addition and subtraction anytime by pressing the re-
spective button again.
3. Perform the next measurement.
à The measurement is added/subtracted from the first measurement.
à The display shows the new sum.
4. Add and subtract further measurements.
5. Leave the addition/subtraction mode by pressing the power button.
9.6 Retrieving measurements from memory
Whenever a measurement is performed, the results are recorded in memory. You can re-
trieve the last 50 records.
To retrieve a record:
1. Repeatedly press the memory access button to display the stored measurement res-
ults.
2. Use the addition button + and the subtraction button – to search records.
3. Leave the memory mode by pressing the power button.

10.1 Measuring distance - 2 reference points
Use 2 reference points and the Pythagorean theorem to find the height.
