FIGHTING A MONSTER
EXAMPLE – VICTORY
Carla plays the warrior.
A She fights with the skeleton king,
whose power is 10. Carla has one
sword (+2) and one set of daggers
(+1) inher inventory along with one
magic flames spell. Carla rolls 5,
her total power is thus 5 + 2 + 1 = 8.
B Carla uses the warrior’s special
ability– double attack and rolls both
the dice again. She rolls 7, soshe
decides to use the magic flames spell
(and returns the corresponding
token to the box). Her total power is
thus 7 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 11. This is enough
for her to defeat the skeleton king.
C Carla flips the monster token,
on the other side is an axe.
D She adds the axe to her inventory
and leaves the daggers to lie on this
dungeon tile.
EXAMPLE – LOSS
B Carla rolls only 3 with her
second roll. Her total power is
thus 3 + 2 + 1 = 6 which means that
Carla lost the fight.
C Carla must move her figure back
to the tile from which she came
and flip one HP token, with a skull
now facing up. The skeleton king
remains on the tile where he was
discovered.
