Description
MAC Address
Specifies the MAC address of the LAN port of the AP.
IP Address Type
Specifies the IP address obtaining mode of the AP.

Static IP: It indicates that the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server of
the AP are set manually. It is proper for the scenarios where only one or several APs
are required in the network.

DHCP (Dynamic IP Address): It indicates that the IP address, subnet mask, gateway,
and DNS server information of the AP are obtained from a DHCP server on your LAN.
It is proper for the scenarios where a large group of APs are required in the network.
If IP Address Type is set to Static IP, the AP can access the internet and log in to the web
UI only when using the static IP address provided by the upstream device.
IP Address
Specifies the LAN IP address of the AP. The web UI of the AP is accessible at this IP
address.
Subnet Mask
Specifies the subnet mask of the IP address of the AP. The default subnet mask is
255.255.255.0.
