Air filter maintenance
Air filter must be cleaned after approx. 100 hours of use.
Clean it as follows:
1. Stop the unit and remove the air filter.
2. Clean and reinstall the air filter.
If dirt is evident, wash it with a detergent solution in lukewarm water. After
cleaning, dry it in a cool, shady place.
3. Clean the air filter every fortnight if the air conditioner operates in an
extremely dusty environment.
Maintenance for use
1. If the appliance is not used for a long time, pull out the primary and
secondary rubber plugs of the drainage port to drain the water.
2. Keep the appliance running with the fan only for half a day on a sunny day
to dry the inside of the appliance and prevent it from moulding.
3. Stop the unit and pull out the power plug, then remove the batteries from
the remote control and store the unit properly.
4. Clean the air filter and reinstall it.
5. Remove the air tubes and store them properly, covering the hole well.
