Protection
Operating condition
The protective device can intervene and stop the device in the following cases:
- Cooling
Indoor air temperature is above 43° C
Ambient temperature is below 15° C
- Dehumidification
Ambient temperature is below 15° C
If the air conditioner operates in cooling or dehumidifying mode with the door or
window open for a long time when the relative humidity is above 80 per cent,
dew may fall from the outlet.
Protection features
1. The protection device operates in the following cases:
Immediate restart of the unit after operation has stopped or change of
mode during operation, wait 3 minutes.
1. If the plug is removed, when the appliance is restarted, it returns to its
original mode, timer 'on' and timer 'off' must be set again.
WATER DRAINAGE
Remember that the condensation water recycling is hidden in this unit.
Condensation water is partly kept recycling between the condenser and the
water plate. When the water level rises to the upper level, the float switch and full
water (W.F.) indicator light up to remind you to drain the water.
Switch off the power supply, move the appliance to a suitable place, remove the
drain plug and drain the water completely.
After draining, reinsert the cap, otherwise the appliance may leak and wet the
room. If the appliance is placed in a location that allows the water to drain, you
can also connect the drain hose to the drain port to drain the water.
Maintenance of household appliances
1. Interrupt the power supply.
Switch off the appliance before disconnecting it from the power supply.
2. Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
If the appliance is very dirty, use lukewarm water (less than 40°C).
For cleaning, use a dry, soft cloth.
3. Never use volatile substances such as petrol or polishing powder to clean
the device.
4. Never spray water on the main unit.
