15. Timecode functions
Follow the procedures below to show the TIMECODE settings
menu.
HOME screen when stopped
e
Press the F1[MENU] button. Select TIMECODE and press
the F4[ENTER] button.

TC GEN MODE
TIMECODE screen

Select TC GEN MODE and
press the F4[ENTER] button.
Select the setting to be used
and press the F4[ENTER]
button.
OFF (default)
Do not use timecode
Timecode will not be shown on the HOME screen.
FREE RUN
Timecode is generated from the FREE RUN • START TIME setting
and used as the master.
RTC
Timecode is generated from the time of the unit's built-in
clock and used as the master.
TC IN MASTER
Timecode input through the /EXT/TC In jack is used as the
master.
BLE MASTER
Timecode input by Bluetooth is used as the master.
COUNTER VIEW
SUB (default) / MAIN
Unless TC GEN MODE is “OFF”, the display positions of the
counter and timecode on the HOME screen can be switched.

Receiving timecode by wire
TIMECODE screen

Select TC GEN MODE and
press the F4[ENTER] button.
Select TC IN MASTER and
press the F4[ENTER] button.
o If “TC IN MASTER” is selected when INPUT screen > INPUT is
set to “EXT”, the L channel of the EXT input will be turned o
and the input sound will become silent.
o For this unit to read timecode from the TC IN, input must be
in the specied level range for LTC.
o When inputting audio through the /EXT/TC IN jack, select a
setting other than “TC IN MASTER”.
o After receiving timecode, if “TC IN MASTER” is switched to
“FREE RUN” or the cable connected to the /EXT/TC IN jack is
disconnected, the unit will run freely based on the timecode
data that it received most recently.
Receiving timecode by Bluetooth
Set TC GEN MODE to “BLE MASTER” and TIMECODE > BLE to “ON”.
