Motherboard Connections

This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout denitions.

Note that depending on how the system is congured, not all connections are required. The

LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component

locations may be found in Chapter 1. More detail can be found in the Motherboard Manual

Please review the Safety Precautions in Appendix A before installing or removing components.

4.1 Power Connections

Power Connector

JPWR1 is the 12V input power connector for the backplane power connector. This connection

is made automatically when inserting a node into the system.

GPU Power Connector

JGWR1 is the 12 V output power connector for a GPU.

SATA Power Connector

JPH1 is a SATA power connector for when SATA0/SATA1 are used.
