First-Time Use Instructions

1. Clean the oven thoroughly before its initial use.
2. Remove any accessories from the oven.
3. Set the oven to the Bake function.
4. Operate the oven at 400°F (204°C) for 1 hour.
• Do not use general-purpose oven thermometers, such as those available in grocery stores, to check the
temperature settings inside your oven.
• The heating elements in your oven will turn on and off as needed to maintain the desired temperature. As a
result, they may be warm or cool at different times. Most thermometers have a slow response to these
temperature fluctuations and may not provide an accurate reading.
• Oven thermometers can vary by up to 74°F (23°C) from the actual temperature inside the oven.
• Flat oven racks can be used for most cooking needs and can be placed in most oven rack positions.
Energy Saving Tip
Keep the Oven Door Closed: To maintain optimal temperature and save energy, avoid opening the oven
door frequently during cooking. Only open it when necessary to turn or check the food.
Utilize Residual Heat: If your cooking time exceeds 30 minutes, consider turning off the oven 10 minutes
before the end of the cooking time. The residual heat will continue cooking the food, saving energy.
Optimize Oven Use: To reduce reheating time and save energy, plan your cooking schedule to avoid frequent
temperature changes between dishes.
