Now the power levels cannot be
changed on any of the cooking
zones, and they will continue
to operate at the simmer rate
previously selected.
To deactivate the child lock, touch
and hold the lock key until the
key symbol disappears from the
display. The hob controls will now
be operational again.
USING THE PAUSE /
RECALL FUNCTION
The pause function allows you to
temporarily switch o the power to
all of the cooking zones, with one
touch, for example if you needed
to leave the kitchen to answer the
door.
Touch the pause key
. All of
the cooking zones are temporarily
switched o.
To resume cooking, within 10
minutes of having paused cooking,
touch the pause key again.
Within 10 seconds, locate the slider
control for the front-right
cooking zone
.
Slide the flat of your finger across
the slider control for the front-right
cooking zone, from left to right,
until all of the red bars have lit up.
The cooking zones will be switched
on again at the same power levels
as were selected before cooking
was paused.

MINDER FUNCTIONS
NOTE
The induction hob timer
can be used in two ways
- as a minute minder to
beep at the end of the
duration time, to remind
you to check, stir or
turn the food, without
turning any cooking zones
o automatically, or as
a cook-to-o timer to
turn one or more cooking
zones o automatically.
After switching the hob
on, touching the plus
and minus keys
together activates the
minute minder/timer.
The plus and/or minus
keys are used to
enter the amount of
time required, between 1
minute and 1 hour 59
minutes.
Each single press of the
plus key increases the
time by 1 minute. If you
press and hold the plus
key , the time will
increase more quickly, by
1 minute at a time for the
first 9 steps, then by 5
minutes at a time for the
next 10 steps, and finally
by 10 minutes at a time for
the remaining steps.
Each single press of the
minus key decreases
the time by 1 minute. If
