ACTIVATING AND
DEACTIVATING THE
CHILD LOCK
The child lock can be used in
two ways - to prevent the hob
cooking zones from being switched
on accidentally, for example by a
child, or to prevent the power levels
from being accidentally changed,
for example when simmering.
To prevent the hob cooking zones
from being switched on:
Touch the power key to switch
the hob on.
Within 10 seconds, touch and hold
the lock key
until the key
symbol appears in the display.
Touch the power key to switch
the hob o, or simply wait about 10
seconds for the hob to turn o.
Now, when the hob is switched on,
power levels cannot be set on any
of the cooking zones, and so the
cooking zones will not switch on.
To deactivate the child lock, if
necessary touch the power key to
switch the hob on.
Within 10 seconds, touch and hold
the lock key until the key
symbol
disappears from the
display. The hob controls will now
be operational again.
To prevent the power levels from being
changed during use.
Firstly, please adjust each of the
cooking zones to the required
simmer rate.
Touch and hold the lock key
until the key symbol appears in
the display.
