3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is used to perform precise measurement of
distances and horizontal and vertical angles in geodesy and
construction.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
improper use of the device.
3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION
3.1.1. THE DEVICE
o) The use of an umbrella is recommended to avoid
damage when working in direct sunlight or in the
rain.
p) Switch o the device before removing the battery.
q) Do not point the laser beam directly at the eyes, it
may damage eyesight.

3.1.2. THE KEYBOARD

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device is
being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance between
each side of the device and the wall or other objects. The
device should always be used when positioned on an even,
stable, clean, reproof and dry surface, and be out of the
reach of children and persons with limited mental and
sensory functions.
3.2.1. ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE
1. THE REFLECTOR
When measuring the distance, place the reector prism at
the target. The reector systems come with a single / triple
prism that can be mounted with the tribrach onto a tripod
or mounted onto a prism pole. Reector systems can be
congured by the user.
2. THE TRIBRACH
Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw which holds the
tribrach. Turn the screw counterclockwise. The equipment
can be removed now.

3.2.2. DEVICE USE
Hold down the power key for 1 second to turn the device
on. The start page is the angle measurement mode (a). Press
ESC to go to system information (b). Press MENU F4 to see
information about the device (c). Hold down the power key
for 4 seconds to turn the device o.
