Adjustingthis control clockwise, sets the point at which random noise
onthechanneldoesnotactivatetheaudiocircuitsbutareceivedsignal
does.This point is called the squelch threshold. Further adjustment of
thesquelchcontrolwilldegradereceptionofwantedtransmissions.
SoftKeys
The 3 programmable soft keys can be customized by the Setup Menu
mode described in section “10.10 SOFT KEYS”. When one of the soft
keysispressedbriey,thefunctionswillappearaboveeachkeyonthe
display.
