Installation
USB flash drive, and copy the hdc4300.key file to that
folder.
On the HDC-P43, create a
\MSSONY\PRO\CAMERA\HDCP43 folder, and
copy the hdcp43.key file to that folder.
For information on usable types of USB flash drives,
refer to the OPERATION MANUAL of the camera.

Install the key file.
The installation procedure is the same for a .key file
and RQ_LIC.DAT.
Connect the USB flash drive to the USB connector,
and install the key file on the camera using the
<OPTION KEY> page of the MAINTENANCE
menu.
For details on menu operations, refer to the
OPERATION MANUAL of the camera.
When the key file is installed on the camera, an
indication of the installed options is displayed in the
EFFECTIVE FUNCTION field of the <OPTION
KEY> page.

The period of use is displayed for software which has
a limited period of use.
For software whose period of use is limited to 7 days
or 30 days, you cannot install the same key as a key
that is already installed, and you cannot uninstall a key
that is already installed.

Confirm the result of installation.
Restart the camera and check the <SERIAL NO.>
page of the DIAGNOSIS menu.
When the installation is successfully completed, the
name of the installed key file appears in the
EFFECTIVE FUNCTION column.
