Installing SZC-4001/4001M/4001W software on the
HDC4300 or HDC-P43 enables shooting and transmission
in the following 4K formats, with the 4K images being
output from a connected BPU4000/4500 Baseband
Processor Unit or HDCU4300 Camera Control Unit.

•4K/25P
• 4K/29.97P
•4K/50P
• 4K/59.94P
•4K/50P(×2)*
• 4K/59.94P(×2)*
* Selectable when SZC-4002/4002M/4002W HFR Software is installed in
the BPU4000/45000.
The signal format can be selected in the master setup unit
(MSU) menu, BPU4000/4500 menu, or HDCU4300
menu.
The following describes how to select 4K/59.94P as an
example. (Connect a compatible camera control unit to the
BPU4000/4500, and set the format of the camera control
unit to 1080/59.94P.)

Display the <BPU Multi Format> page of the Config
menu.

Select “System Format.”
A list of signal formats that can be selected appears.

Select “4096×2160/59.94P” and press Enter.

Display the <OUTPUT FORMAT> page of the
CONFIGURATION menu on the BPU4000/4500, or
the <MULTI FORMAT> page of the
MAINTENANCE menu on the HDCU4300.

Set the “SYSTEM FORMAT” parameters to the
following values (see following diagram).
Example of BPU4000/4500
RESOLUTION: 4096×2160
FREQUENCY: 59.94
On the HDCU4300, set 4K/HFR FORMAT to
4096×2160/59.94P.
