• A maintenance log should record each component serviced during maintenance, as well

as activities performed or repairs made.

• Maintenance staff must have access to a speciﬁc training programme.

• Before starting maintenance operations on the unit, turn off the unit’s main switch. Elec-

trical shock can cause personal injury.

• Keep the following in mind when performing maintenance operations:

('.1. WATER COILS

• We recommend cleaning the coils once a year.

• Don’t use abrasive cleaner.

• Brush off the ﬁns that need it.

• Make sure that there is no leakage from pipework.

• If the coils are not used, please drain the water to avoid damage.

('.1.1 DX COILS

• We recommend cleaning the coils once a year.

• Don’t use the abrasive cleaner.

• Make sure that there is the leakage from pipework.

('.2. DRAINAGE SYSTEM

• We recommend checking periodically the condensate drip tray and clean it.

• We recommend checking the siphon.

('.3. MOTORS

• Check the power consumption has not increased.

• Periodically check the electrical connections are making good contact; this will prevent

breakdowns.

• We recommend checking the fan mounting periodically.

('.5. FILTERS

• To make sure that the ﬁlters are working properly, the pressure loss across the ﬁlter

must be monitored precisely (since this is an indicator of dirt levels). The followin

('.4. FANS

• Every three months, clean the dirt from the fan blades and bearings, since dirt can not

only reduce airﬂow but also lead to unbalanced operation and increase noise.

• Periodically, test the airﬂow on each fan.
