• Even if the maximum pressure loss has not been reached, ﬁlters should be inspected

each month to make sure that the ﬁlter and ﬁlter housing are sealed.

• It is not recommended that ﬁlters be washed, since they will never recover their initial

efﬁciency and doing so can produce wear on the ﬁlters. Although washing or vacuuming

in the opposite direction from normal air circulation can achieve an optimal ﬁnish, it is

recommended that you always have a set of replacement ﬁlters on hand. Under no cir-

cumstances should the unit be run without ﬁlters, since this can introduce dirt into vital

components of the unit and lead to equipment wear and loss of efﬁciency.

21.5.1. Filter replacement

The air conditioner is supplied with a ﬁ lter mounted inside. Depending on the version it is

possible to mount a second ﬁ lter (order as accessory).

The way to access for maintenance depends on the unit type:

• Version UTBS-X P F7: Long frame version P F7, with capacity for mounting two ﬁ lters: F7

factory mounted and possibility of mounting a second ﬁ lter (supplied as an accessory).

• Version UTBS-X M5: Short frame version, equipped with a single M5 ﬁ lter and without

possibility to mount a second ﬁ lter.
