2. Set the on/o󰀨 switch (10) to (0) to stop the product.
10.3 Overload protection
If the motor is overloaded, e.g. if the drum jams, the
product will automatically switch o󰀨.
10.4 Working instructions
m ATTENTION!
Keep a safe distance from the product when load-
ing the screen drum.
Make sure that the product is stable on solid ground.
Do not reach into the screen drum while it is running.
Do not overload the screen, as this can cause dam-
age to the mechanism. The maximum load should
be indicated in the instructions.Supply material
evenly and in the specied quantity to avoid over-
loading or uneven loading.
When charging with soil, do not insert the shovel or
garden fork into the running screen drum.
If the material blocks, stop operation immediately,
switch o󰀨 the product and clean it.
Switch o󰀨 the engine and pull out the mains plug
when leaving the work station.
11. Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and ready
for operation. The connection complies with the appli-
cable VDE and DIN provisions.
The customers mains connection as well as the exten-
sion cable used must also comply with these regulations.
Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is often
damaged.
This may have the following causes:
Pressure points, where connection cables are
passed through windows or doors.
Kinks where the connection cable has been improp-
erly fastened or routed.
Places where the connection cables have been cut
due to being driven over.
Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall
outlet.
Cracks due to the insulation ageing.
Such damaged electrical connection cables must not
be used and are life-threatening due to the insulation
damage.
2. Insert the two locking pins (2a) through the corre-
sponding holders to secure the protective mat in
place.
3. Make sure that the protective mat is rmly seated
and cannot slip.
10. Start-up
m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
The product has a powerful electric motor and overload
protection for added safety. The robust chassis provides
stability and good mobility of the product. The angle of
the screen drum can be adjusted to optimise the e󰀩-
ciency of the screening process and to adapt the result
depending on the material and the desired degree of
separation.
Please refer to the following descriptions for the func-
tion of the controls.
10.1 Adjusting the drum angle (Fig. 7)
A steeper angle ensures that the material is moved
faster through the drum. This is helpful when coarse
material is to be screened or large quantities are to
be processed in a short time.
A shallower angle slows the material ow, which
allows for a longer dwell time in the screen. This re-
sults in a more thorough separation, especially for
ne materials.
Di󰀨erent materials (e.g. sand, soil, compost) have
di󰀨erent properties such as density, moisture and
grain size. The angle can be adjusted to optimise
the movement of these materials in the drum.
Damp or sticky material may require a shallower in-
cline to avoid clogging the drum.
The drum angle can be set to 0°, 4° and 8°.
1. To do this, loosen the Allen screw (3a).
2. And remove the M8 hexagonal nut (3c) and the
spring washer (3b).
3. Lift the screen drum slightly with one hand and
remove the Allen screw (3a) and reinsert it in the
desired position/angle.
4. Secure the connection by retting the M8 hexago-
nal nut (3c) and the spring washer (3b).
10.2 Switching the product on/o󰀨
1. Set the on/o󰀨 switch (10) to (I) to start the product.
