15.1 Changing the cutting thread (Fig. 11)
m WARNING
There is a risk of injury when working with a
damaged cutting thread.
- Wear protective gloves!
- Only original spare parts may be used when
replacing the cutting thread.
1. Empty the fuel tank before removing the cutting
line (11) (see 15.5.).
2. Remove the cutting thread (11) by pushing both
ends of the thread through the loop (12a) so that
the cutting thread (11) comes out from under the
metal tab (12b). The cutting thread (11) can then
simply be pulled out.
3. Fold the cutting thread (11) in half and feed both ends
through the loop (12a) on the edge of the spindle.
4. Pull the ends of the cutting thread (11) through the
loop (12a) until the cutting thread sits securely un-
der the metal tab (12b).
5. Cross the thread ends and pull them tight to se-
cure the cutting thread (11). (Fig. 11)
15.2 Grinding the limiting blade (14)(Fig. 13)
The limiting blade (14) can become blunt over time.
1. If you notice this, loosen the screws that secure
the limiting blade (14) to the trim plate (15).
2. Secure the limiting blade (14) in a vice.
3. Grind the cutting edge of the limiting blade (14)
with a at le, taking care to maintain the angle of
the cutting edge.
4. Important! Ret the limiting blade (14) in the trim
plate (15).
5. Replace or sharpen the limiting blade (14) at the
end of each mowing season or as required.
15.3 Checking the oil level (Fig. 14)
m WARNING
Health hazard.
Inhalation of fuel/lubricating oil vapours and ex-
haust fumes can lead to serious damage to health,
unconsciousness and, in extreme cases, death.
- Do not inhale fuel/lubricating oil vapours and
exhaust fumes.
- Operate the product outdoors only.
15. Maintenance
m WARNING
Have repair and maintenance work that is not
described in these operating instructions car-
ried out by a specialised workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
There is a risk of accident! Carry out maintenance
and cleaning work should always be carried
out with the engine switched o󰀨. There is a
danger of injury! Let the Product cool down be-
fore all maintenance and cleaning tasks. Ele-
ments of the engine are hot. There is a danger
of injury and burning!
The product can start unexpectedly and cause in-
juries.
- Switch o󰀨 the motor before carrying out any
cleaning or maintenance work.
- Disconnect the spark plug connector from the
spark plug.
- Allow the motor to cool down.
Regular, careful servicing is required to guarantee
the safety level and performance of the product.
Ensure that all nuts, pins and screws are securely
tightened so that the product is in a safe working
condition.
For safety reasons, replace worn or damaged
parts.
Check that the rear wheels are securely fastened.
To ensure that the wheels run smoothly, we rec-
ommend cleaning and lightly oiling the wheel axles
and wheel hubs at least once a season (Fig. 12).
Work not described in these operating instructions
should only be carried out by an authorised spe-
cialist workshop.
Place the product on a level, even surface.

Spark plug wrench*
Fuel extraction pump*
Cloth*
Open-ended spanner, size 10 mm*
Open-ended spanner, size 13 mm*
Phillips screwdriver
Oil pump*
Oil collecting tray, at (for oil change)*
Collection bucket*
Copper wire brush*
