The smart combination of both cooking modes allows for a comfortable exploitation of all
advantages induction cooking provides.
• For cooking with the temperature level mode touch
sensor temp (6). The appliance automatically swit-
ches to temperature level 120 °C. The display (4)
shows 120, the LED temp (8c) is lit continuously.
NOTE: In case the appliance had not been separated from the mains after its previous use
the display shows, as a suggestion, the temperature level as lastly set.
• By touching the + sensor (3) you can in-crease the
temperature up to 240 °C.
• By touching the – sensor (5) you can reduce the
temperature down to 60 °C.
Details on the temperature levels:
Models CT 2002/IN and CT 3402/IN have the following temperature settings
level 01 60 °C level 06 160 °C
level 02 80 °C level 07 180 °C
level 03 100 °C level 08 200 °C
level 04 120 °C level 09 220 °C
level 05 140 °C level 10 240 °C
NOTE: The temperature at the bottom of the cookware is measured by a sensor located
underneath the glass ceramic plate in the centre of the cooking zone. The actual temperature
in the crockery may therefore deviate from the temperature displayed. The control only
works properly if the cookware covers this area. The cookware should have a flat and not
too thick base to ensure good heat transfer. The maximum permitted temperature for the
temperature levels mode is 240 °C.
Changeover between power level and temperature level mode
You may change at any time from the power level mode to the temperature level mode and
vice versa. The last selected setting of the respective function is saved.
• During operation in the power level mode touch the
sensor temp (6) for changing to the temperature
level mode.
• During operation in the temperature level mode
touch the sensor power (7) for chang-ing to the
power level mode.
Setting the operating time (timer) – from 1 up to 180 minutes
The timer can be activated in the power level mode as well as in the temperature level
mode.
