Humidifier
18. Fit the water tank (14) onto the base of the humidifier
(16). Make sure that the symbols
I (15) are aligned on
both parts.
19. Insert the hose into the connection (12) on the water
tank lid. Then place the water tank lid on the water tank.
The recess on the water tank cap must sit on the groove
at the opening of the water tank.
20. Connect the other end of the hose to the hose connec-
tion on the protective grille (5).
- The water tank must sit firmly on the base so that the
mist cannot escape between the water tank and the
base.
Adjusting the Height of the Telescopic Standpipe
The height of the telescopic standpipe can be adjusted. The
inscriptions below are located at the top of the fixing (10).
1. Loosen the fixing for the telescopic standpipe by turning
it anti-clockwise in the LOOSEN direction.
2. Pull the telescopic standpipe to the desired height. Then
tighten the fixing again by turning it clockwise in the
FASTEN direction.
Attaching the Fastening Clip
The enclosed fastening clip can optionally be attached to
the telescopic standpipe to secure the hose.
CAUTION:
• Only push the hose through the fasten-
ing clip from below or above. Otherwise
the hose will be damaged!
• The hose must be laid in such a way
that the water tank is not pushed off the
base by the fixed hose.
1. Slide the fastening clamp onto the tele-
scopic standpipe from above.
2. Push the hose end of the water tank through the other
side of the fastening clip from above.
3. Reattach the end of the hose to the lid of the water tank.
Operation
Fill with Water
CAUTION:
• Only use distilled or boiled, cold tap water without
additives.
• Replace the water every 3 days, even if it has not yet
been used.
• If the appliance has not used for long periods, remove
the water from the water tank and from the base of the
humidifier.
1. Remove the water tank cover.
2. Lift the water tank from the base of the humidifier.
3. Fill the water tank with water up to the MAX mark. The
maximum capacity of the water tank is 3 litres.
4. Place the water tank back on the base of the humidifier.
5. Place the water tank lid back on the water tank with the
hose fitted.
Basic Settings
• Set the blower inclination angle before starting the appli-
ance. You can adjust the inclination angle by tipping the
blower casing with both hands.
- There are 3 locking positions for the inclination. These
must engage audibly.
• The appliance can be operated both with the remote
control and with the buttons on the switch housing. Iden-
tical buttons have the same function.
• Operation is described with the buttons on the remote
control.
- The pointers on the switch housing display the
settings.
ON / OFF Switching On / Switching Off
Switch the appliance on and off with the ON / OFF button.
The control lamp on the button lights up when the appliance
is connected to the mains.
- After disconnection from the mains or when the appli-
ance is switched on again, the appliance starts in NOR.
(normal), with low speed (L) and the MOIST function
switched off.
SPEED Speed Level
Select the speed level with the SPEED button. By repeat-
edly pressing the button, you can then choose between the
following speed levels:
• L = low speed
• M = medium speed
• H = high speed
MODE Wind Change Functions
The appliance has two special functions:
NATURAL and SLEEP. The fan speed is varied differently in
both functions.
Press the MODE button to change the mode.
NATURAL Natural mode
• At speed level L, the speed changes between slow – off.
• At speed level M, the speed changes between
slow – medium – off.
• At speed level H, the speed changes between
slow – medium – fast – off.
SLEEP Sleep mode
• If H speed is set:
The fan works in the first 30 minutes as in “Natural
Mode” at the H speed setting. In the subsequent
30 minutes the fan works as in “Natural Mode” at the
