• The appliance works best if doors and windows are kept
closed when used in mist mode.
- Do not forget to air the room regularly.
Electrical Connection
1. Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appli-
ance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the appliance to a correctly installed earthed
socket. The control lamp of the ON / OFF button (7 f)
lights up. This indicates that the power supply is on.
Insert Batteries into the Remote Control
(Batteries not included in the scope of delivery)
1. Open the lid of the battery compartment on the rear of
the remote control.
2. Insert 2 batteries of type R03 / AAA 1.5 V.
3. Please ensure the correct polarity. Details can be found
in the battery compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment.
Remote Control Range
• The remote control has a range of approx. 8 metres.
• To use the remote control, point it at the sensor on the
front of the switch housing.
• Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote
control and the sensor.
• The angle of the remote control to the remote control
sensor should not exceed 30 ° to the right, left, up, and
down.
Location
• The ideal position is a non-slip, flat surface.
• The rollers can scratch the floor and cannot be secured
against rolling away. Take suitable precautions to ensure
that the floor below is not damaged.
• There are holes in the base plate through which over-
flowing water can drain from the humidifier. These holes
are necessary for the atomiser and do not constitute
a defect in the appliance. Take suitable precautions to
ensure that the floor below is not damaged.
• Do not place the appliance onto wood, to avoid deforma-
tion due to moisture.
• Watch out for electrical devices close by. They must not
get wet.
• Keep a distance of 2 metres from electrical equipment
and delicate furniture to protect these from moisture.
Assembly Instructions
The appliance must be fully assembled before use! We
recommend that you refer to the figures „Overview of the
Components“ and „Assembly Overview“ when assembling.
Base Unit
1. Place the cover (25) on the stand (26).
2. Insert the rubber adapters (29) into the four holes on
the underside of the stand. Now push the threads of the
rollers into the rubber adapters.
3. Fasten the telescopic standpipe (9) in the recess on the
stand. Use the washer (27) and the screw hook (28)
for this.
4. Place the base of the humidifier in the recess in the
stand. Screw the base to the stand from below. Use the
screw and washer provided for this purpose.
5. The M6 nut and the fixing screw are pre-assembled on
the back of the switch housing (8).
Check whether the fixing screw is screwed in too deeply.
If this is the case, unscrew the screw slightly. Do not
unscrew it completely!
- If the screw and nut have fallen out, proceed as
follows:
a) Hold the pre-assembled unit [motor (30), and
switch housing (7)] so that the motor is pointing
downwards.
b) Insert the M6 nut into the slot next to the recess
for the tube.
c) Loosely screw the fastening screw on the back of
the switch housing onto the nut.
6. Push the pre-assembled unit onto the telescopic
standpipe.
7. Secure the unit to the standpipe by tightening the
fastening screw.
Fan
8. Remove the pre-assembled fastening nut (32) from the
motor (30). Keep it within easy reach.
9. Place the rear protection grid (31) on the motor (30)
according to the recesses.
- Make sure that the carrying handle is pointing
upwards.
10. Screw on the fastening nut (32) for the rear protection
grid clockwise.
11. Fit the propeller (4). Pay attention to the guide pin on the
motor shaft.
12. Tighten the fastening screw (33) for the propeller
anti-clockwise.
13. Remove the pre-assembled fastening screw, locking
screw and nut (6) from the front protective grid (34).
Keep it within easy reach.
14. Open the fastening hooks (2) on the front protective grid.
15. Attach the front protection grid by attaching the hook (1)
with the groove to the rear protection grid.
- The holes for the locking screw (6) in the front and
rear protection grid must be aligned.
16. Secure the protective grid with the locking screw and
nut (6).
17. Lock the four fastening hooks (2).
