5.2.11 Programmable logic controllers (PLC)

Programmable logic controllers, so-called Inline controllers, are available for control

tasks.

Using an Inline Controller, the Inline station becomes a distributed control system. The

Inline Controller integrates an IEC 61131-programmable PLC CPU in the Inline system.

The Inline Controller enables direct signal processing of the distributed I/O points. The

Inline Controller also enables the creation of independent subnetworks, which process

automation tasks autonomously.
