Exporting the configuration

If you want to configure several devices of the same type with the same settings, you can

generate a configuration file (json format).

To do this, select which properties are to be copied.

Finally, click on “Download” to save the configuration file to your PC.

Importing the configuration

Click on the “Durchsuchen” (Choose File) button and select a previously saved configu-

ration file. Confirm the import by clicking on the “Import” button.

Make sure that “Identifier” is not selected (see Figure 4-24) before you create

the configuration file. Otherwise, all devices will use the same device identifier.

If you are using RTU devices, also make sure that “Modbus” is not selected either.

If you are using TCP devices, also make sure that “Network” is not selected either.

You can only import configurations from devices with the same item number.
