4.1.14.3 Configuration data

Transferring the configuration (only for MTCP devices)

When using TCP devices, you can transfer an existing configuration to other devices via a

configured network. To do this, proceed as follows:

• Select which properties are to be transferred.

• In the “Device address” field, enter the IP address of the device to which the config-

uration is to be transferred.

• Enter the device password of the target device

• (Optional) If you want to transfer the configuration to several devices, you can add

another device by clicking on the “+” button.

• Click on the “Check connection” button.

The WBM checks whether a connection to the device is possible.

• Click on the “Transfer” button to transfer the selected device configuration to the

specified devices.

Make sure that “Identifier” is not selected before you create the configuration

file. Otherwise, all devices will use the same device identifier.

Also make sure that “Network” is not selected either. Otherwise, all devices will

be assigned the same address.
