Here you can update the firmware of the device. The firmware version of the respective

device is displayed at the bottom of the window.

The latest firmware version can always be found in the download area for the respective

item at phoenixcontact.com

.

To update the firmware, proceed as follows:

• Click the “Durchsuchen” (Choose File) button.

• Select the new firmware file (.bin) on your PC.

• Confirm the file by clicking on the “Upload” button.

The upload is then performed in four sub-steps, which are displayed in real time.

Please note the following information on importing:

• You can only import configurations from devices with the same item number.

• Do not leave the WBM import page during the import process.

• Do not switch off the device during the import process and do not restart it.

• The device is automatically restarted during the import process and all con-

nections are interrupted.

• During the import process, device functions may be unavailable for a short time.

The WBM checks uploaded firmware automatically so that no faulty firmware

can be installed.
