4.1.3 Register table (only for devices with digital output)
Figure 4-4 Register table
The register tables contain information on the device function and the communication in-
terface as well as the entire Modbus register.
Here you will find the addresses of the available registers, divided into three categories:
Device description: Device configuration, network, Modbus
Control and status register: Device control, device status, measuring system control
Process data: Measurements, counter values, statistics
To expand the relevant section, click on one of the double-arrow icons. In addition, you
can use the search bar in the upper area of the table to search for a specific register entry.
The register entries are secured with a PIN. If you want to change register values, you
must enter the correct PIN.
NOTE: Data corruption or loss
Change the PIN after the device is first started up to prevent unauthorized write
access to the device.
To change the PIN, proceed as follows:
1. Enter the last valid PIN in register 0x4013.
2. Enter a new four-digit PIN in register 0x2260.
Please note that the PIN cannot be reset if lost.
In the delivery state, the initial PIN is “0100”.
The register tables can also be found in the digital twin at
ecm.phoenixcontact.com
and in the download area for the respective product
at phoenixcontact.com/products
.
