1.4 Safety notes
Transport Parts may become loose or fall off when transporting the workbench. Wear safety shoes
with protective caps.
Setup Disconnect the mains plug before moving the workbench. Make sure not to damage the ca-
bles.
Secure the workbench to prevent it from rolling unintentionally. To do this, lock the front two
castors.
Only use the workbench indoors.
Assembly Only assemble and install the workbench if all of the parts are undamaged.
Make sure you assemble the workbench properly so that it is stable. If it is assembled incor-
rectly, there is a risk of crushing.
When assembling or disassembling the workbench, the worktop can drop down unexpect-
edly due to loose screw connections. Be careful not to trap any part of your body.
Attach the devices to the workbench by appropriate means so that they cannot fall off.
Startup Protect the cables against mechanical damage. Startup must never be performed if cables
are damaged.
Before connecting the control unit to the power grid, make sure that all the individual system
elements are connected together. Make sure that the voltage on the rating plate matches
the power grid.
Operation When moving the workbench up and down, be careful not to trap any part of your body be-
tween the work surface and adjoining parts.
If there is an unusual noise or smell coming from the control unit during operation, discon-
nect the power supply immediately.
The maximum load for the work surface is 65 kg. Do not exceed this limit.
Do not use the clipx WIRE assist to lift people. Do not allow anyone to sit or stand on the
workbench.
Anti-collision protection The workbench has a sensor to prevent the work surface jamming and becoming blocked.
This option minimizes the risk of damage to the workbench caused by an obstacle while it
is moving up or down. However, you must still be careful not to trap any part of your body. If
the workbench encounters an obstacle, it will stop automatically and move 50 mm in the op-
posite direction. It does this regardless of whether or not a button is pressed on the control
element. The anti-collision protection does not work during initialization or if the collision oc-
curs over too long a period of time (e.g., in the case of a soft object).
Operating time Regardless of the weight involved, you must never allow the workbench drive to run for lon-
ger than six minutes per hour or a maximum of two minutes in continuous operation. After
two minutes of continuous operation, the system needs an 18 minute break. Exceeding the
operating time can significantly reduce the service life of the system, as the motor, brake,
and spindle nut will overheat.
Maintenance and trouble-
shooting
Disconnect the workbench from the power grid before carrying out maintenance work or
troubleshooting. Disconnect the mains plug.
