1.3 Intended use

The clipx WIRE assist is a mobile workbench for control cabinet manufacturers. The height

of the worktop can be adjusted from 810 mm to 1350 mm. The clipx WIRE assist can be

loaded up to 65 kg. The total load is designed for a maximum of 500 kg. Only use the work-

bench indoors. The workbench is designed for use in industrial applications.

The clipx WIRE assist is optimized for Phoenix Contact tools. All the steps for cable assem-

bly are supported. Depending on the task at hand, various automatic devices, tools, and

materials can be arranged on the workbench. Software can guide you through the individual

processing steps.

The workbench has a height-adjustable work surface and four castors, two of which are

lockable . The workbench will work properly even if the load is uneven. A start/stop function

ensures smooth starting and gentle braking of the workbench.

The workbench is not intended to be used as a lifting table. It should be used exclusively as

a workstation and must never be used to lift people.

Regardless of the weight involved, you must never allow the workbench drive to run for lon-

ger than six minutes per hour or a maximum of two minutes in continuous operation. After

two minutes of continuous operation, the system needs an 18 minute break. Exceeding the

operating time can significantly reduce the service life of the system, as the motor, brake,

and spindle nut will overheat.

The workbench has a sensor to prevent the work surface jamming and becoming blocked.

This option minimizes the risk of damage to the workbench caused by an obstacle while it

is moving up or down. However, you must still be careful not to trap any part of your body.
