1.2 Qualification of users

This user manual is addressed to persons, who are familiar with the relevant safety con-

cepts for handling electrical machines. The persons must be able to recognize dangers.

Only persons with the physical and mental capabilities required to use the clipx WIRE assist

may do so. Persons with limited skills require instruction and supervision by a safety super-

visor.

This symbol indicates hazards that could lead to personal injury.

There are three signal words indicating the severity of a potential injury.

DANGER

Indicates a hazard with a high risk level. If this hazardous situation is not avoided,

it will result in death or serious injury.

WARNING

Indicates a hazard with a medium risk level. If this hazardous situation is not

avoided, it could result in death or serious injury.

CAUTION

Indicates a hazard with a low risk level. If this hazardous situation is not avoided,

it could result in minor or moderate injury.

Notice of hazard from dangerous contact voltage. Disconnect the workbench

from the mains before carrying out assembly work. This is particularly important

when removing the cover of the control unit.

Notice of hazard and risk of physical injury when moving the workbench.

This symbol together with the NOTE signal word warns the reader of actions that

might cause property damage or a malfunction.

This symbol informs you that connection must be carried out by qualified electri-

cians.

The symbol informs you that you have to observe the instructions. Only install and

operate the device once you have familiarized yourself with its properties by

means of the user documentation.
