Important safety instructions

ALWAYS read and follow the instructions carefully to fully benet from the use of

your Lumea and to minimize the risk of injury, skin reactions and side eects. Make sure

to save these instructions for future reference.

Contraindications

• DO NOT use Lumea if you have had chemotherapy or radiation therapy in the last

3 months.

• DO NOT use Lumea if your sensitivity to pain is reduced after using medication

(e.g. painkiller, numbing cream) or due to a medical condition.

• DO NOT use Lumea if you have a dark brown or darker skin tone.

• DO NOT use Lumea if you are pregnant, lactating or breastfeeding.

• DO NOT use Lumea if you are under the age of 18 years or above 65 years.

Light sensitivity:

• DO NOT use Lumea if your skin is extra sensitive to light, for example if you:

- have a sun allergy;

- are taking certain medication or herbal remedies. Check the instruction leaet

inside your medication package to see if what you are taking can cause increased

sensitivity to sunlight.

Medical conditions:

• DO NOT use Lumea – or consult your doctor rst – if you have:

- epilepsy with ashlight sensitivity;

- an active skin cancer or a history of skin cancer;

- a skin pigmentation disorder such as vitiligo;

- a history of poor wound healing;

- an immunocompromised state caused by a disease such as AIDS or by

immunosuppressive drugs;

- a history of collagen disorders, including a history of keloid scar formation.
