Water collection tray Drainage Guide
When the water level of the bottom tray reaches a
predetermined level, the unit beeps 8 times, and
the digital display shows "P1".
At this time the air conditioning/dehumidication
process will immediately stop, however, the fan
motor will continue to operate (this is normal).
Carefully move the unit to a drain location, remove
the bottom drain plug and let the water drain away.
Reinstall the bottom drain plug and restart the
machine. The "P1" in the display should turn o.
If it does not, call for service.
The water collection tray should be drained
immediately after "P1" error occurs, and before
storage to prevent mold.
NOTE: Make sure the end of the hose is lower
than the bottom tray drain outlet. Be sure to
reinstall the bottom drain plug rmly to prevent
leakage before using the unit.
DRAINAGE
Dehumidifying Mode Drainage Guide
During dehumidifying mode, remove the upper
drain plug from the back of the unit, install a
drain connector (5/8" universal female adapter,
not included) , and attach to a 3/4" hose
(not included). Place the open end of the hose
directly over the drain area in your basement oor
or place it into a bucket.
NOTE: Make sure the hose is secure so there
are no leaks. Direct the hose toward the drain,
making sure that there are no kinks that will
stop the water owing. Place the end of the
hose into the drain and make sure the end
of the hose is facing downwards to allow
for smooth water ow. The end of the drain
hose cannot be facing upwards. When the
continuous drain hose is not used, ensure
that the corresponding drain plug and knob
are installed rmly to prevent leakage.
Your unit will be primary self evaporative although
it may need to be drained during high humidity or
initial set up.
