Timer control
The timer is connected to an active cooking zone. After the set time has elapsed, the cooking
zone will switch off automatically. A timer can be set for each active cooking zone.
1. Select the desired cooking zone and set the power.
2. Touch the timer key.
▷ The display for setting the timer appears.
▷ By default, an alarm time of 10 minutes is set.
3. Scroll to set the desired time (up to 9 hours and 59 minutes).
▷ The selected cooking zone will switch off automatically once the set time has elapsed.
▷ The alarm will sound for 1 minute after the set time has passed.
4. Touch anywhere on the main display to deactivate the alarm.
Touch the cooking zone key, then touch the timer key to change the set time using the
scroll bar.
Touch the cooking zone key and then touch the timer key twice to turn off the timer
prematurely.
Lock function (child safety lock)
By activating the lock function, you can lock the keys while using the hob. Only the on/off key
and the lock key will be active.
The hob is switched on.
1. Touch the lock key for about 3 seconds until you hear an audio signal.
▷ The lock symbol turns blue; the lock function is activated.
▷ Only the on/off key and the lock key will be active. Now, when you touch a key, a beep
sounds and the lock symbol flashes for 3 seconds.
2. Touch the lock key again for about 3 seconds until you hear a double audio signal.
▷ The lock function is deactivated.
If the hob is switched off when the lock function is activated, it remains in the memory.
The lock symbol is blue when you switch the hob on again. First touch the lock button
for about 3 seconds until you hear a double audio signal. Now you can use the hob
again.
