Pause function
You can pause cooking instead of switching off the hob. This function temporarily stops the
cooking activity (max. 10 minutes); timers are also paused. The hob will switch off if the pause
function is not switched off within 10 minutes.
1. Touch the pause key until you hear an audio signal.
▷ The pause symbol turns blue.
▷ All items in the main display are shown in a grey colour; the hob is now in pause mode.
▷ Only the on/off key and the pause key will be active. Now, when you touch a key, a
beep sounds and the pause symbol flashes for 3 seconds.
2. Touch the pause key again until you hear a double audio signal to switch off the pause
function.
▷ The cooking process and timers will start again.
Switching on the automatic heat-up function
This function sets the cooking zone at the highest level in order to bring your pan rapidly up to
the required temperature. After a given time interval, the power level returns to the established
level. This function is available for power level 1 to 8.

1. Switch on the hob and select the desired cooking zone.
2. Touch the ‘Heat up’ key.
▷ The ‘Heat up’ symbol appears on the display with power level 4.
3. Use the scroll bar to set the desired power level.
▷ When the automatic heat-up time has expired, you will hear an audio signal and the
cooking zone will switch automatically to the selected level.
