appliance
Adjusting the Float Switch
NOTE! RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the appliance can result in
damage to the appliance.
Make sure that the float switch cannot be-
come entangled in foreign objects (e.g. roots,
grilles, etc.).
The appliance is automatically switched on and
off with the aid of the float switch

The appliance will switch off on its own if the float
switch

is tilted downwards more than 45°.
The appliance will turn on automatically if the float
switch

is titled upwards more than 45°.
The float switch

must be adjusted so that it can
be raised and lowered in the location where it is
deployed. Make sure that the float switch

not touch the floor or soil before the appliance is
switched off.

A position that is adjusted lower and a cable
that is adjusted shorter are appropriate for a
low water level.
A position that is adjusted higher and a cable
that is adjusted longer are appropriate for a
high water level.
Immersing the Appliance in
Water

Faulty electrical installation or excessive system
voltage can result in electric shock.
Make sure that the power plug is situated in a
flood-proof area.
Make sure that no persons are present in the
area that is to be drained.
NOTE! RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the appliance can result in
damage to the appliance.
Do not install the appliance by suspending it
with the aid of the pressure hose or the power
cable.
Observe the maximum immersion depth.
Observe the potential discharge head.
Make sure the maximum water temperature is
not exceeded.
Check to make sure that the pressure pipe is
firmly attached to the appliance.
Make sure that the area to be drained has
dimensions of at least 40 x 40 x 50 cm, so that
the float switch can move freely.
Immerse the appliance in the water at an
angle, so that no air bubbles can form in the
suction area

Place the appliance upright once it has been
completely immersed.
Let the appliance slowly sink to the bottom
while holding onto the retaining cable

Carry out a test run at low water level.
Make sure the appliance is standing firmly on
the floor of the working area.
Plug the power plug for the connecting cable

into a properly installed power outlet.
The appliance will begin pumping automati-
cally.
