2.4 Additional safety indications
Plug the main connection into a sufficiently secured domestic socket.
For outdoor use, use IPX4-protected appliances.
Do not bend the cable connections used. This results in damages
to the internal wires.
Ensure that you do not stand in water whilst connecting electrical
appliances.
Disconnect the main connection or electricity supply before
making connections in damp areas.
Water and damp must not ingress into the box.
Before touching the cable protection box, disconnect it from the
electricity supply.
Neither use the cable protection box as a climbing aid nor as a
repository for heavy items! The danger exists that the product may
then be damaged.
This product is not intended for unsupervised use by children or
similar wards!
When selecting the installation location, ensure that it has no
higher humidity or temperatures (-5°C to +60°C). Wetness,
solvents, combustible gases and fumes (or similar emissions) should
also be avoided.
3. Before use
Check the cable protection box for any damag-
es. Should the product demonstrate any faults,
it must not be used under any circumstances
whatsoever.
Avoid the ingression of foreign bodies and wa-
ter. Check the cable protection box for water
and foreign bodies after storage.
The use of this product may result in wear and
tear to certain parts. Therefore, check the prod-
uct regularly for any damages and faults.
Note:
The cable protection box provides protection
for temporary outdoor use. Although it is often
used for a longer period outdoors, the cable
protection box cannot be used as a permanent
installation. Portable multiple socket strips do
not replace permanent installations. Moreover,
such multiple socketstrips are not designed for
permanent use with heavy loads.
The place of use should be selected so that safe
access to the mains supply circuit is guaranteed.
