2.2 Safety indications for the IP54 protection category
The protection category defines the suitability of electrical equipment
for different ambient surroundings, additionally the protection of
persons against danger when used.
It is forbidden to drill additional holes in the casing! This reduces IP
protection and increases the probability of water ingress.
IP54 is no longer given if the casing is damaged. The product may
then no longer be used. Should the coupling. plug and multiple
socket strip not fit into the cable protection box due to their size,
the cable protection box may not be used.
Only one cable may be

guided through a cable bushing. Other-
wise the seals will be

damaged.
IP54 protection is only guaranteed when the cable protection box
is closed.
2.3 Safety indications for electrical installations
If several appliances are connected to a multiple socket strip, ensure
that the total power consumption / dimensioning uptake for the mul-
tiple socket strip is not exceeded. Observe the manufacturer’s specifi-
cations for this. Normally, dependent on the multiple socket strip, this
value varies between a max. of 2300 W and 3800 W.
This cable protection box is only intended for temporary electrical
connections. Extreme weather conditions and heat can influence
the service life of the product.
If too many consumers are connected to a multiple socket strip,
the cable protection box’s operating temperature is increased.
In order to guarantee safe functioning, the cable protection box
may not be used open outdoors.
ATTENTION: Always unwind the cable for use! The threats of over-
loading and heat build-up exist.
