CAUTION!
If you use the angle stop3 and the
height stopr at the same time, make
sure that the saw discp does not
come into contact with the height
stopr!
Adjusting the height stop
Undo the height stop lockt. Turn the
height adjustment knob e until you
reach the desired setting.
The values in the scale windowsw
serve as a reference. The set height is
shown by the markings.
After you have set the height, retighten
the height stop lockt.
Removing the height stop
Undo the height stop lockt.
Turn the height adjustment knobe
clockwise until you reach the highest
setting and you can remove the height
stopr.
Changing the saw disc (see Fig.E)
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Switch o the appliance and
disconnect it from the mains
before carrying out any work
on it.
Set up the appliance so that the rear
side of the blade guard2 is facing
towards you.
Undo the screws on the rear of the
blade guard2 using a Phillips screw-
driver (not supplied; see Fig.F).
Pull the blade guard 2 forwards o
the appliance.
Press the spindle locku and keep it
pressed. Check whether the saw discp
still turns. If yes, turn the saw discp
until the spindle locku clicks into
place.
Insert the face spanner4 into the cor-
responding holes on the angeo. Undo
the angeo using the face spanner4
by turning it in the direction indicated by
the arrows on the saw discp and the
appliance.
Remove the angeo and the saw
discp from the spindle.
Insert the new saw disc and check that
the direction of rotation is correct using
the arrows on the disc and appliance
(direction of rotation arrow a).
To reassemble, proceed in reverse order.
Before use, check to ensure that the
blade guard2 closes properly. When
the saw discp retracts from a cut, it
must retract completely into the blade
guard 2.
Always carry out a test run without load
before starting work and after replacing
an accessory tool. Switch o the product
immediately if the accessory tool runs
unevenly, if there is a signicant vibra-
tion or if you hear unusual noises.
Use
WARNING!
Never activate the spindle locku
while the saw discp is still turning.
Before use, check to ensure that the
blade guard2 closes properly. When
the saw discp retracts from a cut, it
must retract completely into the blade
guard 2.
Keep your hands out of the sawing
area and away from the saw disc p
while the appliance is switched on!
