Switching on/o
Switching on
♦ Push the ON/OFF switch g forwards
until it clicks into place.
Switching o
♦ Press the rear part of the ON/OFF
switchg.
Using the appliance
♦ Always use both hands to hold the ap-
pliance while you are working. Use the
additional handle1 to have optimum
control over the appliance.
♦ Make sure that you apply an even force
to saw even slots.
♦ Do not apply the running saw disc p
to the workpiece until the appliance has
reached full speed. Otherwise, this could
cause a kickback.
♦ Select a biscuit that is appropriate to the
material thickness. Choose the largest
one possible to ensure optimal stability.
You can also use several biscuits on top
of each other.
♦ Mark the centre of the groove that you
want to mill on the workpiece with a
pencil (not supplied). Apply the appli-
ance with the groove marking f at the
marked position (see Fig. M).
♦ You can see examples of the grooves

Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Switch o the appliance and
disconnect it from the mains
before carrying out any work
on it.
■ Do not use any sharp objects to clean
the appliance. Do not allow any liquids
to get into the appliance. Otherwise
the appliance could be damaged.
■ Clean the appliance regularly, preferably
immediately after completion of the
work.
■ Clean the housing with a dry cloth –
do not use petrol, solvents or cleaners
which can attack the plastic.
■ A vacuum cleaner is required for
thorough cleaning of the appliance.
■ Ventilation openings must never be
obstructed.
■ Remove any sanding dust stuck to the
tool with a brush.
WARNING!
■ Do not use any accessories that are
not recommended by PARKSIDE. This
can lead to an electric shock and re.
