Adjusting the speed
(Fig.A)

WARNING!
u The transparent screen[] must be
folded down to the working rest[].
This prevents accidental contact with the
rotating grinding wheel[] or buffing
wheel[2].
u Remove the flexible shaft[5] from the
product after use. Otherwise, it could be
thrown around uncontrollably when the
product is switched on and cause injuries.
1. Turn the speed controller[8] in the
+direction to increase the speed.
2. Turn the speed controller[8] in the
–direction to decrease the speed.

Installing the flexible shaft
1. Align the flexible shaft[5] with the
connector[4].
2. Insert the rotary shaft[] into the
connector[4] in directiong.
3. Slightly rotate the buffing wheel[2] up and
down by hand. While doing so, push the
rotary shaft[] into the connector[4] until it
is fully engaged.
4. Turn the locking nut[3] in directioni to
lock it.
Removing the flexible shaft
1. Turn the locking nut[3] in directionj to
release it completely from the connector[4].
2. Pull the flexible shaft[5] in directionh until
the rotary shaft[] is completely released
from the connector[4].

accessory tools from the
flexible shaft

Attaching accessory tools
1. Press the collar[6] in directionk to lock the
chuck assembly[7].
2. Insert the accessory tool []/[]/[]/[]/
[]/[] into the chuck assembly[7].
3. Tighten the chuck cap[] firmly with the
combination spanner[] in directionl to
hold the accessory tool in position.
4. Loosen the collar[6] so that it can return to
its original unlocking position.
Removing accessory tools
1. Press the collar[6] in directionk to lock the
chuck assembly [7].
2. Use the combination spanner[] to loosen
the chuck cap[] in directionm.
3. Pull the accessory tool completely out of the
chuck assembly[7].
4. Loosen the collar[6] so that it can return to
its original unlocking position.
Changing the collet
(Fig.H, I)
1. Press the collar[6] in directionk to lock the
chuck assembly [7].
2. Use the combination spanner[] to loosen
the chuck cap[] in directionm until it is
completely unscrewed from the holder[].
3. Remove the collet[] from the holder[]
if the accessory tool has a different
shank size. Insert the collet suitable for
the corresponding shank size into the
holder[].
4. Screw the chuck cap[] onto the holder[]
until it is fully engaged in the holder.
5. Tighten the chuck cap[] firmly with the
combination spanner[] in directionl to
hold the accessory tool in position.
6. Loosen the collar[6] so that it can return to
its original unlocking position.
